Matrix X-Series
The Enterasys Matrix X-Series extends security
to computing clusters and core networks. It can scale to fit the user’s exact
requirements. Input/Output Module blades are interchangeable among any chassis
and are available in 1Gbps and 10Gbps connections.
The Matrix X-Series features firmware upgrades and zero packet loss control
module failover with a dedicated control plane that operates separately from the
switching/routing data plane. This dual-plane feature also provides maximum
availability in the event of a security threat such as a denial-of-service
attack. The Matrix X will quickly identify and isolate an attack without
disrupting service on other segments.
The Matrix X-Series adapts to changing requirements in a cost effective
managers that ensures business continuity while delivering a return on
