BlackDiamond 12800R Series
The BlackDiamond 12800R series offers service
providers the ability to offer voice, video and data over one infrastructure,
and to offer more services to each residential subscriber. The Ethernet network
also delivers point-to-point and multi point business services for site-site
connectivity, tiered Internet access and prioritized Voice-over-IP to each
customer.
BlackDiamond 12800R series switches deliver new technology innovations to
scale and manage large networks. This is accomplished through MAC-in-MAC for
Ethernet scaling, H-VPLS for MPLS scaling, XML-based service provisioning and
Ethernet ping and traceroute.
BlackDiamond 12800R series offers complete high-availability with durable
hardware, modular software, and protection switching features. High availability
is achieved by using a redundant system design, ExtremeXOS modular operating
system, XML-based service provisioning and Ethernet Automatic Protection
