BlackDiamond 12804C Series
BlackDiamond 12804C provides performance
independent of which features are enabled. These key features include Quality of
Service (QoS) and performance providing application scalability, system
scalability for applications, and scalable management.
BlackDiamond 12804C allows every component, including the operating system,
to be upgraded without taking the switch out of service. BlackDiamond 12804C
also uses ExtremeXOS which raises the availability of the switch. Network level
resiliency protocols are added to increase the availability of the network.
BlackDiamond 12804C delivers a new level of security to Ethernet core
networking. BlackDiamond 12804C complements the perimeter firewalls by
protecting the interior of the network that goes unprotected. BlackDiamond
12804C can be programmed to automatically detect and eliminate security threats
