Summit 200 switches provide complete edge security features such as MAC address security that allows identifying port abuse. Every user on every port can be authenticated. This ensures the network is protected at the edge.

Multiple Supplicant enables multiple clients to be individually authenticated on the same port. Summit 200 series switches have wire-speed Layer 2-4 Access Control Lists (ACLs) on every port to maximize security while maintaining throughput. Other features of the Summit 200 are Quality of Service (QoS), Ethernet Automatic Protection Switching (EAPS) resiliency protocol, minimized latency, non-blocking forwarding, network login with multiple supplicants, and a hardened network infrastructure.
