Access Point 530
The HP ProCurve Access Point 530 provides
dual-radio access with simultaneous support
for IEEE 802.11a and 802.11g standards,
making it ideal for use in branch of
satellite offices. Secure access to network
resources is provided by industry-proven
user authentication and the latest in
standards-based wireless security. Detailed
session, usage, and billing information is
provided by the built in RADIUS accounting
support.
Remote configuration of the HP ProCurve
Access Point 530 is possible through either
a Web browser or command-line interface (CLI).
SCP support enables secure file transfers,
and prevents unwanted copying of
configuration files, and unauthorized file
downloads. Automatic beacon and data
transmit power adjustment is made possible
by the Adaptive Transmit Power Control and
reduces same channel interference.
