The HP ProLiant ML150 G3 is an
entry-level tower server that delivers dual
processor capability, manageability,
expandability, and an appropriate balance of
performance at a very aggressive price. Some
standard features include an embedded
Gigabit WOL (Wake on LAN) server adapter, 7
USB 2.0 ports, and up to 6 PCI Slots
(PCI-Express, PCI-X, or PCI).
Ideal for small to medium sized
businesses, the ProLiant ML150 G3 servers
limit network downtime with hot pluggable
hard disk drives (SCSI and SATA), a highly
expandable chassis allowing plenty of room
for growth, and an optional Lights-Out 100
Remote Management Card, that allows for
management in remote locations.
With a total memory capacity of 8 GB of
PC2700 DDR ram, the ProLiant ML150 server is
ideal for use in file and print sharing,
small databases and vertical applications,
small or medium email, and shared internet
access and LAN infrastructure. All of these
features combine to ensure excellent server
performance for both today and for the
future.
