The ProLiant DL100 G2 Storage Server is a Windows-powered file and print solution that enables consolidation of multiple direct-attached DAS installations to a single NAS device. Standard features include: Dual-Core Intel Pentium D processor, 512 MB PC2-4200 DDR2 SDRAM (Upgradeable to a max of 4 GB), embedded dual-port gigabit network adapter, and two PCI-x expansion slots.

With 4 front loading, hot plug SATA drive bays, the ProLiant DL100 G2 can provide a total of 2 TB of storage space, using 4 500 GB drives. This allows for cost reduction, as well as the ability to expand storage capacity for future needs. Support for multiple file sharing protocols makes file maintenance easy and powerful.
