The HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array 20 Enclosure is a low-cost, hight capacity solution for task such as data archival and disk to disck backups. This enclosure is able to meet your growing storage needs by delivering best in class storage density, availability, and upgradeability. Redundant cooling fans and power supplies are standard, and help to reduce network interuptions caused by equipment repairs. These items as well as the disk drives are all hot pluggable. High levels of data protection are provided by included features such as battery backed cache, and variou RAID levels including RAID ADG.

The HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array 20 Enclosure has a maximum storage capacity of 12TB when using 1TB SATA drives, with data transfer rates greater that 100MB/s. Thanks to the modular design of this enclosure, up to 21 untis can be mounted in a single 42U rack to provide up to 189TB of total network storage. The standard set of Smart Array management tools included with this unit help to lower total cost of ownership can by reducing the amount of additional training needed to maintain these products.
