16 high performance Auto Sensing 1, 2, and 4Gb/s Fibre Channel ports are provided as standard equipment on the HP StorageWorks 4/16 SAN Switch. Full SAN scaling capabilities as defined in the SAN Design Guide, and 128Gb end to end switching bandwidth make this switch ideal for new and existing SAN installations.

SAN administrators will find the necessary tools to monitor the health and performance of the network included in the software Power Pack. The bundled software also enables the highest levels of security, scalability and manageability. Backwards compatibility with previously installed 1Gb, 2Gb and 4Gb devices help to lower the Total Cost of Ownership of the HP StorageWorks 4/16 SAN Switch.
