The StorageWorks XP24000 Disk Arrays are designed for organizations that require a large enterprise-class storage system, with minimal downtime. Utilizing a fully redundant hardware platform and unique data replication capabilities provide complete business continuity. Thin provisioning allows for improved storage utilization, as well as decreasing the complexities of data management.

All components used in the StorageWorks XP24000 Disk Arrays are hot-swappable, and can be upgraded online. Battery backup allows the disk arrays to continue to operate and write cache data to disk in the event of a power outage. For applications that demand extremely high I/O performance, 146 GB Solid State Disk Drives are utilized.

Distribution of storage resources is enabled through the use of dynamic partitioning. By managing open systems, HP NonStop applications, and mainframe, the StorageWorks XP24000 Disk Arrays make consolidation a reality. The included XP Array Manager software allows for reduced risk of unauthorized access as well as decreasing exposure to data loss.
