The HP ProCurve Switch 1800 Series are made up of fanless Gigabit, Web-managed switches. This makes them ideal for deploying in open environments where silent operation is required. Available in 8 and 24-port 10/100/1000 configurations, both switches offer an intuitive Web interface for performing network management tasks.

By utilizing IEEE 802.1AB Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) the HP ProCurve Switch 1800 Series provides easy device discover and mapping. Layer 2 switching provides support for up to 64 port-based VLANs and dynamic configuration of IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging. ProCurve/IEEE Auto-MDIX enables automatic detection and adjustment for straight-through or crossover cables.
