The HP ProCurve Switch 5400zl Series have a purpose-built, programmable ProVision ASIC at their foundation that enable demanding features including Quality of Service (QoS) and security. Simplicity of management is achieved through the use of common ProCurve networking features and CLI implementation.

Available in 6 and 12-slot chassis configurations, with a variety of Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, and PoE on all ports, the HP ProCurve Switch 5400zl Series offers scalability, flexibility, and investment protection. Deployment, maintenance, and operation are enhanced through the use of the associated zl modules and bundles.

Enterprise-class performance and security make the HP ProCurve Switch 5400zl Series the most advanced intelligent edge switches in the HP ProCurve line. Some of the standard features include Remote Intelligent Mirroring, RMON, XRMON, and sFlow v5, Uni-Directional Link Detection (UDLD), and IEEE 802.1AB Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP).
