Hardware-based VoIP is the other option
available for consumer use. This option
allows the user to utilize their existing
phone(s), by plugging them into an Analog
Telephone Adapter (ATA), and then plugging
the ATA into an existing broadband
connection. The user would then complete the
required steps to connect to the provider of
their choice.
Small businesses that only require a
small number of phone lines (1-5) can also
